This weekend brings us the 6th brilliant North London Camden Rocks Festival and what an exciting line up there is! There will be over 200 bands gracing twenty plus stages in the Camden Town area.
Just annouced Indie Brighton Duo Blood Red Shoes will be joined by the phenomenal DJ Carl Barat at the Koko after show party. There are so many bands to choose from including Essex Mod genius’s Missing Andy. I wish there were 54 of me so that I could see all of the Rock and Indie line up these include INME, Findlay, Pete Spiby & The Beat Alls, October Drift, The SoapGirls, Bryde, Reigning Days, Reverted, Berries, Longy & The Gospal Trash Drones, Hollowstar, Kid Kapichi, Traitor, Two Year Break, Sickjoy, 10 Gauge to name but a few.
Dr Martins Boot Room will be laying on some pretty cool acts too. They are showcasing emerging artists Heavy Lungs and Kid Kapichi. The Joe Strummer Foundation have got involved too and have cherry picked Glossii and Pet Needs. These gigs can be attended by anyone who has purchased a Camden Rocks Festival ticket.

Aftershow tickets are priced at £10 (subject to booking fee) and give festival goers access to the aftershow at KOKO 11pm – 3am.
And what more could you ask for when you have the likes of Mercury-prize nominee’s Maximo Park, the punksters that are PIL, Scottish talent Twin Atlantic, the excellent Pop Will Eat Itself and top knotch Sex Pistols legends The Professionals. that’s only a little taster! See you this Saturday to get your Camden Rocks Off!!!
